Two More Days…

Boy has it been a REALLY busy few weeks around here with Thanksgiving and all this fundraising.

We have our basket giveaway you can find here…that is over tomorrow.  There are so many wonderful things in it

so please come on over and see what it is all about.

The second one is our HUGE garage sale we are having tomorrow.

We have had so many people drop off things that we actually have to have it at my sweet friend

Sandra’s (she has the funniest blog here called Nailing Jello to a Tree) house because her garage and drive way are so much bigger…and just because she is that

great of a friend, she has just been plain wonderful about helping us..She truly has a heart for the orphan.

She even volunteered to donate and organ if need be..heehee…now that is LOVE!!!

I could not do this without her!!

My sweet friend Debbi whom I have NEVER met in person, but has adopted a little boy from Ethiopia  and has been so

supportive in this whole journey…we met through the adoption world via the internet…and let me tell you this friend is way beyond sweet….I know we would be BFF’s if we were in the same town.

She has supported me in buying mega loads of my bracelets..you can see here.

But she is also a Rodan & Fields consultant.

She has agreed until tomorrow to donate 5% of all sales to our fundraiser as well as the 20.00 enrollment fee if you sign up as a preferred customer…NOW that is a WIN WIN for all involved.

Click on picture to go to her site.

She also has donated a whole skin care regime in my giveaway as well.

So friends there you have it..that’s whats been going around here..so if I have been absent in returning calls, text or emails..you know why.

Thank each and everyone of you for all your support..it truly makes our hearts happy to have such supportive people in our lives..We are blessed.

Stay tuned a winner will be revealed for the giveaway in just a couple of days.

God is Faithful even in Garage Sales!!

God is so faithful even in a garage sale..

WOW!! what a day we had..I for one could not sleep that night…so I woke up around.. ummm..3:45am.

I started setting up in the dark it was a little crazy..I was so stressed about not being set up by 8am that for goodness sakes

I had to start at 4:30…

Luke decided he wanted to help too..so he got up around 4:30am..thank goodness for his help.

We had so much stuff donated by friends it was unbelievable..(but in all my stress forgot to take a picture).

I have truly been blown away by God’s provision for our trip..HE wants us to GO!!

Around 6am my dear friend Sandra arrive..PrAiSe God!!

I have no idea what I would of done without her!

She unloaded ALL the clothing for us and put it in nice piles..BLESSING!!! Thank you girl for all you hard work.

We truly could not of done it without her..she handled the money too..again BLESSING!!

We were operational at 7am..YEP an hour early…

Over half gone by 8:30am..WOW!!

We truly were blessed..I mean we saw arm loads of stuff leave one after another all morning..it was crazy busy.

WE are going to UGANDA...

By about this time..I was dead..truly my mind space was very limited…asking a question about anything at this point was

pointless..I was just shaking my head yes..and saying sure .10 why not..

At that point the Hubster came over and said..honey you need to pray over that box, because if you keep giving things away at .10 and .25 we will never make our goal…

Cuties..selling baked goods..

Again Sandra and Kanina pulled through and made homemade cinnamon rolls, cookies and cupcakes.

I think they pulled in about 50.00

YUMMY!

Sammy and Luke..what a great team.

One of the best parts about the  garage sale was a lady came, that bought up all the clothes because she was going on a trip to Africa (back home for her) and she wanted to take them all back with her…UMMMM..look at all that she bought.  So the Hubster packed it all back into big garbage bags, there were about 10 total…

See all those clothes..WOW!!

Lisa, Me and Sandra..thanks Girls for all your help..

Have I ever said how much I LOVE this Man!!!!

He looks grumpy..but it was the sun in his eyes..heehee!!

What an awesome, glorious, tiring day..

It was alot of work, but so worth it all…

God showed up HUGE…I mean HUGE!!

When all was said and done..we raised

Drum Roll Please!!!!!!!!!!!

$1100.00 YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  God even shows up in Garage Sales. We can’t be more grateful for HIS provision in this.

The next day was Mothers Day..which is always hard for me since my beautiful girls are living in other states with their littles.

But sweet Mya came down with a tiara and boa for me to put on so I could feel like a Princess.  Being a step-mom isn’t always easy..but things like this make me happy..

Full affect of me in the morning..no make-up in my princess outfit..Love you Mya girl.

I had a yummy breakfast of Granola and Almond milk..then it was off to church, lunch then back home and I

planted by behind on the couch for the rest of the day..I was WIPED out!!

Thank you to EVERYONE who donated items/money, baked goods and their time..we are forever grateful.
